Student first-time voter Zander backed Reform UK at the General Election, and he is delighted with the four seats Nigel Farage’s insurgent party has managed to accrue.
The Reform chief has long claimed his party is gathering support from youngsters, citing traction on social media platforms like TikTok.
Speaking on GB News, 19-year-old student Zander explained to Nana Akua how the former Brexit Party chief won him over after his first ever General Election vote went to Reform.
“They have a vision”, he said.

“They have bold policies to tackle immigration. They said they would leave the ECHR (European Court of Human Rights), which is bold. That’s the way to stop the boats.
“They’re going to be a bit more relaxed on taxation, pay as you earn going up to £20,000 will incentivise people to work.

“They will be tough on education as well. I’m a student and I’ve just left college. I have seen some of the wokeness in our schools, which is appalling.”
Zander continued by commenting on Sir Keir Starmer’s manifesto pledge to lower the voting age to 16, which he believes will further play into Reform’s hands.
“You look on social media now, Reform UK have the biggest viewership on there compared to any other party”, he claimed.
“I think Nigel Farage has got a base of young people, people are rallying to Nigel Farage, like myself, because they believe in his vision.

“Let’s be frank, Keir Starmer did not win this election, the Tories lost it. Keir Starmer’s approval rating is minus 19. Blair’s was plus 20.
“That just shows how disenfranchised people are with the two parties and it sets up a good base for Reform.”
Farage won a Commons seat at his eighth time of trying in the Essex constituency of Clacton and promised his party would “stun all of you”.
He will be joined in Parliament by ex-Tory Lee Anderson, party chairman Richard Tice and former Southampton FC chairman Rupert Lowe.
Upon winning his seat, the 60-year-old said: there is now a “massive gap on the centre-right of British politics and my job is to fill it”.
But he added it is not just the Tories he is taking on, saying “We’re coming for Labour” and “This is just the first step of something that is going to stun all of you”.
