The father of tech billionaire Elon Musk criticised the Prime Minister on GB News

Errol Musk, father of tech billionaire Elon Musk, has launched a scathing attack on Sir Keir Starmer's leadership, describing the current state of Britain under Labour as "totally, totally un-english."

Speaking to GB News, Musk criticised the direction of the country under its new leadership.

His comments come as Labour prepares for a government relaunch amid various challenges in Starmer's first five months in office.

Musk expressed particular concern about how Britain is being perceived by those who have traditionally looked to the country for guidance.

"We look to England for guidance, we think about what the English would have done," he told GB News, lamenting what he sees as a departure from traditional British values.

In his interview, Musk emphasised England's historical role as a parent nation to many countries around the world.

"All your people out of England, people like myself, we all see England as a parent country," he stated.

He pointed to England's historical significance, noting that "half the most famous people in the last few hundred years at least, came from England."

"If that's happening in England, well, where does that put us? We've always looked to England, not for a bad example, and what we're seeing there now is nothing but a bad example," he said.

He dismissed comparisons to fictional settings, stating: "England is not a little principality in Europe called Zenda, and the people in jail are not prisoners of Zenda."

Labour is preparing for what they call a "new phase" of government with their "Plan for Change" initiative.

The move comes after a challenging first five months for Sir Keir Starmer's administration, marked by various setbacks.

In his final remarks, Musk delivered a direct criticism of Starmer and his cabinet's approach to governance.

"A man who's now in a position as Prime Minister and his cabinet, who seemed to have a very contrary British attitude, in every way," he stated.

He suggested this departure from traditional British values was becoming increasingly evident.

"Day by day it comes out, day by day," Musk added, emphasising his view of an ongoing shift away from what he considers proper British governance.
