The Telsa CEO is at risk of legal action as he continues to lock horns with Scotland’s ex-First Minister

Elon Musk has issued Humza Yousaf with a chilling warning as he accused the former SNP leader of being “super racist”.

Musk took to social media to continue his crusade against leading British politicians, including Sir Keir Starmer.

The Tesla CEO was prioritising his spat with the Prime Minister but switched attention to Yousaf after the SNP MSP's appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on Thursday.

In his latest tirade against Yousaf, Musk said: “Legal discovery will show that however big a racist he’s been in public communications, he is vastly worse in private communications.”

Yousaf had just days before warned Musk was “one of the most dangerous men on the planet” because of his “amplification” of disinformation.

He said: “It is probably the first case of someone being radicalised by himself on his own platform. Musk uses his billions and his intellect to amplify hateful ideology and cause division.

“He is promoting white supremacists by engaging and indulging in their conspiracy theories.

“These are people sitting in their mothers’ basements in their Y-fronts eating spaghetti hoops out of a can, then Musk amplifies their nonsense to his 193 million followers. That then spreads like wildfire.

“He seems to be hoping for civil war in the UK, he has used those words time and again, almost instigating it. I think he is one of the most dangerous men on the planet.”

The spat between Musk and Yousaf resulted in the former First Minister considering “all options”, including legal action.

Musk had claimed the son of first-generation Pakistani immigrants “loathes white people” and is “super, super racist”.

“Scotland gave him everything and yet he loathes white people,” he added.

Yousaf was reportedly left fuming by Musk’s attack.

The former First Minister’s lawyer Aamer Anwar said: “Anybody who goes on social media, even if they own the platform and thinks that free speech is absolute whether in the UK or USA, needs to think again.

“Free speech carries responsibility and if you break the law there are consequences, as we have seen in recent days.

“Elon Musk has effectively painted a target on Humza Yousaf’s back with his completely unacceptable, untrue and inflammatory comments.”

Musk is under fire for suggesting to his 193 million X followers that the UK is teetering towards a civil war.

However, any legal action against Musk may prove problematic given the 1964 US Supreme Court decision, known as Sullivan, which ruled that the protection of freedom of speech limits the ability of public officials to sue for defamation.

Yousaf declined to provide GB News with any comment.
