A Conservative MP has warned there will be ‘no going back’ if the controversial assisted dying bill passes its second reading in Parliament.
Tory grandee Bernard Jenkin went on to tell Christopher Hope that MPs still on the fence should vote against the bill.
He said: “I think what I'd be inclined to say, if you're in doubt, then you probably have to vote against. Because once this has been passed, there will be no going back. There's no jurisdiction that's reversed.”
