The people of Britain have shared their views on Labour's first six month in power
A Leighton Buzzard Councillor has launched a scathing attack on Labour's treatment of elderly citizens, particularly criticising policies affecting care home costs and pensioners' savings.
The Labour Party have been in power for 6 months after storming the July election and taking over from the Tories for the first time in 14 years.
Speaking to GB News, Cllr Patrick Hamill expressed his frustration with the current Government.
He said: "They've allowed the cat to stay at No10. Other than that, Labour have done absolutely nothing."

He added: "I think they're going to drain the funds of elderly people that work so hard.
"I can give you an example. My mother-in-law had £70,000 in the bank, when she went into care, they stripped the £70,000 and on top of that, they started on her house.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
"My mother-in-law worked all her life. She fought in the war, and she never, hardly ever drank a drink of alcohol, never smoked, always worked hard, and paid for everything when she needed to.
"She didn't have anything they could purchase, and to find that she had to go into care. And suddenly there was stripping all of our assets everywhere.
"That is an abuse of the elderly, pensioners. My wife is a Waspi woman and she didn't know it was going to be extended to 66. So she wasn't prepared and neither was I.
"Then we have the Winter Fuel Allowance. I mean, what has this Government got against the pensioners that have worked so hard for this country? What have they got against them?"

The Government's decision to raise employers' National Insurance contributions has further complicated the economic picture.
Experts suggest these measures could impact jobs and wage increases, potentially adding to the financial pressures on elderly citizens.
Despite being in power for just six-months, Labour is facing multiple challenges.
Keir Starmer has now been the PM for 6 months
KEIR STARMEROne senior MP told The Guardian, there has been a "sense of drift" in Government and some backbenchers have questioned whether No10 has maintained sufficient control of the situation.
Critics suggest the Prime Minister has fallen short in articulating his vision for power.
