Patrick Christys gives his view on why GB News is so important in 2025.

GB News presenter Patrick Christys thanked viewers for their support and discussed the importance of GB News in a new video.

He began by saying "Thank you to every single one of you who take the time out of your day to watch and listen to not just my show, but to everyone here at GB News. It really means the world to us, but I also wanted to share a moment with you about why I think GB News is so important at the moment."

Patrick talked about how the mainstream media neglects large parts of the British population and said "We want to hold a mirror up to the unrepresented masses out there in the British public.

"People who feel as though that the legacy media has ignored them, has shunned them, has frankly treated them like dirt in many cases for decades." He went on to add "We want to be your voice. That is vitally important to us, and I hope that we do that most of the time."

A recent issue covered in detail by GB News was the winter fuel payment to pensioners being scrapped by the government. Patrick said of the policy "Absolutely ridiculous wasn't it? But we decided to grasp that by the scruff of the neck. We didn't just say, oh, we'll report whatever the Labour Party wants us to report on it.
