In an exclusive video for GB News members, Carole Malone has said the Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling on the legal definition of sex marks a significant turning point in the ongoing debate around gender and women’s rights in the UK.
Speaking in response to the decision, Malone said the ruling establishes clearly that sex is binary - stating that "there is a man and there is a woman." She described the judgment as one that "changes everything," particularly in relation to how institutions treat biological sex and gender identity.
She said “What we have to do now is concentrate on the women who have had their freedoms curtailed by trans activists in this country.”
Carole spoke on the practical impacts of the decision on women saying “Now women in sport, women who are sent to refuges, women in hospitals, women in all sorts of institutions are going to have their safe spaces and their rights back.”

Malone called for changes across key public services, saying the NHS and police service, among others, need to update their guidance and practices in line with the ruling.
“The NHS particularly has been corrupted by this gender ideology,” she claimed, “which the court says just shouldn’t exist.”
Malone also criticised what she described as extreme interpretations of gender ideology in schools, referring to reports that some teachers have told children they can identify as a wide range of things - including animals.
“There are people out there who say there are a hundred genders. There are teachers in this country teaching children that they can identify as a starfish if they want to,” she said. “This is just nonsense. And it has to stop.”
