As tomorrow's Spring Statement looms The Chancellor has comes under additional pressure as she faces criticism for attending a concert from pop star Sabrina Carpenter for free at the O2 earlier this month.

Labour Minister Matthew Pennycook said of the freebie "I don't personally think it's appropriate. If I want to go to a concert at the O2, I'll pay for it."

Shadow Cabinet Office Minister Mike Wood also hit out at Reeves saying "This is an extraordinary slap-down of the profligate champagne lifestyle Rachel Reeves has been enjoying since becoming Chancellor."
