JD Vance has hit out at the west for becoming "lazy" by using "cheap labour" to substitute productivity.

Speaking to tech chiefs on Tuesday the US Vice President said “I’d say that if you look in nearly every country, from Canada to the UK, that imported large amounts of cheap labour, you’ve seen productivity stagnate."

Vance has been critical of the UK since becoming Vice President and singled out British immigration policy in his speech at the Munich Security Conference last month, claiming Brexit voters had been betrayed by elites opening “the floodgates to millions of unvetted immigrants”.
