The Prime Minister has since clarified that a woman is an “adult female” and said the court’s judgment offered "real clarity in an area where we did need clarity"

It's been a week. Great news. It's official: only a woman is a woman.
After five years of legal wrangling between the Scottish Government and For Women Scotland, this week, the five best legal minds making up the Supreme Court decreed that the only legal definition of a woman is someone who was actually conceived and born a woman! Who knew…well, we knew, sane people knew.
Now it would be lovely to slap our collective hands together, say ‘that’s that then’ and assume that all of the necessary reversal of craziness will automatically ensue in our public bodies, shops, sports and most importantly NHS. But I think this is just the end of the beginning, and we now start the middle of this sorry story, and it isn’t going to be pretty. And sadly, we already have evidence of this that has served the dual purpose of reminding us not to let our guard down, but also to demonstrate the danger that we face as women, having just told our abusive partner, trans activists, that we are leaving them.
The most dangerous time a woman ever faces. This is often the point at which the abusive partner attempts, and three times a week manages, to kill the abused woman.
Let's skip from the ruling last Wednesday to the hastily convened “emergency Protest” (they didn’t expect to lose) that happened in Parliament Square this weekend. Never has there been a clearer picture of the misogyny, the hatred of women and the desire for everything women have worked and died for displayed so clearly, wrapped in the ‘trans flag’.
This motley collection of violent, angry men, dressed in varying degrees of their vision of a woman, expressed their disgust at a court ruling that there was no space for them in the private spaces of women. They did this in many ways. They urinated (female penises out in public) against statues of feminist campaigners. They scrawled “Fag Rights” on the iconic statue of Millicent Fawcett, the great feminist campaigner and Suffragette.
Surely, if they truly believe they are women, wouldn’t they celebrate a woman who achieved so many of the rights women have today? It’s easy to get confused

Most disturbing was the many, many placards in plain sight, being brandished proudly, calling for hate, calling for the death of women. They did so via messages such as
“The only good Terf is a _ _ _ _ Terf” next to the hangman logo.
A Terf, by the way, is a ‘Trans exclusionary radical feminist’, a description which I am happy to accept if that is what comes of defending the hard one rights of women and the safety and future of my daughter. If the police didn’t think these signs were inciting violence, perhaps those that clearly said
“Bring back Witch Burning…. JK” in clear reference to the great campaigner JK Rowling. I would view that as incitement to violence. I’m waiting to hear if the police did.
There were plenty of others that were just insulting to women, refencing women’s breast sizes and the size of the penises of the men pretending to be women. It's an odd way to be ‘a woman’.
So, notwithstanding the ruling last week, we clearly face a mammoth battle against these mentally unwell men who feel they have the right to invade women’s spaces, to insult them and to threaten them. It seems clear from the lack of action of the police at the protest, who watched this unfold and did nothing substantial, that women are about to witness the two-tier police state that is becoming so visible of late. But the question for me that is far more important: what will our government do?
It has been five days since the ruling. Our Prime Minister, who prides himself on being a Human Rights lawyer and a man who follows the ruling of higher courts, has been silent. He was, to be fair, on holiday when it landed, but has been back for Easter and out visiting churches, but has said nothing. Not even in the face of leaked messages from his very own Ministers, demonstrating that they too are furious at this ruling. So much so that they are plotting to defy the court! A closer look at these Ministers is revealing; Chris Bryant and Angela Eagle are patrons of LGBT+ Labour, and there are also more than 50 other MPs and 10 Labour peers on that list. A group that organised the harassment of then Labour MP, Rosie Duffield, for believing in biological reality, or scientific fact.
More worrying for me is that Health Secretary, Wes Streeting and the junior health minister, Ashley Dalton, are also Patrons. Now Streeting has already stated that data on biological sex is vital for patient safety in the NHS, so I would assume that this ruling is a helping hand for him to do what needs to be done in the NHS – no mixed wards, no unisex toilets, no mixed changing spaces for staff, no new NHS numbers when someone decides to change their sex, no hiding of sex on medical records, no asking men in they are pregnant when they have an X-ray. So why his silence?
I think this all demonstrates why Keir Starmer is silent… he is between a rock and a hard place. He has half of his Ministers completely bought into this delusional misogynistic movement, and he can’t face a revolt, but he also knows that 51 per cent of the electorate are women and will punish him at the ballot if he falls short again. I say again because he struggled to accept that no women have a penis.
But he can’t stay silent for much longer. As soon as he steps back into parliament from Recess, he needs to clarify his position, and for me, this is quite simple; he needs to say that there is no place for men in female spaces in any domain, nor women in men’s. That must be followed through with scrapping of the ridiculous Gender Recognition Act – there is no place for law to accept an alternate reality to the binary fact of sex. And then all Gender Recognition Certificates need to be rescinded - there can be no legal use under this ruling for a certificate stating a biological impossibility, and no role for government in issuing it. If he doesn’t do this, then I am going to identify as a vampire and I want a certificate that allows me to bite people without repercussion and to work only after dark…… It's simple really.
