I make no apology for returning to Mr Tahir Ali, who is paid to be MP for Birmingham and not for the Kashmir. But you would be pushed to know it.
The bin strike has been going on in his city for a couple of months now but he hasn’t said a word about it – not a single sentence - could this be because he is a member of Unite and doesn’t want to upset his lefty chums who have brought the place to its knees?
Mr Ali doesn’t appear to care about upsetting his constituents in Hall Green and Moseley. Why could that be? You would have thought that the 57.5% Muslim electorate would also be outraged at his silence on the biggest strike issue to hit Birmingham in decades.
What I do know is that the Muslims in his constituency are majority from Mirpur in Pakistan, Kashmir and what fires them up is not the black bags at the end of their street but an airport for their use built 6,000 miles in Mirpur in Pakistan Kashmir.
And Mr Ali is more than happy to talk about that. In a Labour-held event, instead addressing his constituents in English he talked to them in the Mirpuri Punjab dialect.
Tahir Ali is too busy for Birmingham's bins, but not for Mirpur - Kelvin Mackenzie

Further, there were loads of flags around the hall as he and others spoke about the need for an airport, apparently required by his constituents because when they fly in to Kashmir they had to drive three hours to Mirpur. And that’s a bigger issue than the bin strike? Please. He called the length of the drive a ‘’significant issue’’ to his voters.
The reason I raised the issue of flags was that none of them were British. I found that quite shocking. I’m not against the other flags, but a Union Jack would be nice and since Birmingham is England’s second city the St George’s flag would be a sign that his voters embraced their new found homeland.
The reality is that we are watching openly sectarian politics being played out here.
And my bet over the years ahead is that it will get worse.
Keir Starmer is frightened of the Muslim electorate turning on him.

Starmer is so frightened that the Muslim community will pitch their candidates against his at the General Election that he will bend over to accommodate their views even though he knows it aggravates his white working-class voters.
Starmer hasn’t said a word about having an MP who won’t speak about a major strike affecting his constituents but will speak about airport which will only affect Muslims. Mind you it was 30 minutes ago he was saying women have penises so what do you expect?
I’m impressed by both Robert Jenrick and Nick Timothy (you should follow his tweets) in their response to Mr Ali. But I would like to see Kemi Badenoch wade in.
It’s not Kemi’s fault that the Tories are going to take a terrible battering in the May 1st council elections. After the result I want to see her come out all guns blazing.
With MPs on the other side like Mr Ali there’s a big opportunity for her. She either takes it or she’ll be gone. Unfortunately, Mr Ali is going to still be there.
