OPINION: What else would you call tens of thousands of mostly 20-30 year old foreign men forcing themselves into a country without permission?

Record numbers of illegal migrants are coming across the Channel on small boats. Is it acceptable to describe it as an invasion?

I believe it is an invasion, and I won't stop calling it that because some Labour MP gets the hump or left wingers get all triggered by it.

What else would you call tens of thousands of mostly 20-30 year old foreign men forcing themselves into a country without permission and then going on to rinse it of every free service going, receiving tax payer funded hotels, social housing, food (three times a day), private NHS visits to their hotel, free dentistry, free local taxis and bus tickets, free phones, internet and spending money?

Of course, it is an invasion and one that is getting even worse under this weak Labour Government. That is not to let off the Tories, they talked a good game but were very weak on this issue too.

We have no deterrent. Rwanda would have put a lot off in my opinion - we've seen interviews from migrants in France saying that they feared being sent there.

Labour is rumoured to be about to do a deal with France, where we swap an illegal entrant with one of theirs who has family here or links to Britain. Is Labour really this stupid?

France does not want these people either. These migrants have gun battles in Dunkirk and Calais, and have a serious migrant crime problem. Now they are here.

Once we have swapped one of ours, they'll be right back over within weeks or months. Come on, how can these Labour MPs not realise that? Many countries in Europe are clamping down hard. Denmark, Poland, Germany, Austria, and others are starting to turn migrants away. I can guess where they'll be headed.
