After pressure from ‘’the Right’’ Starmer has belatedly agreed to publish league tables for migrant crime. Good start. Now let’s find out by nation which migrants pay in and those that take out.
Studies have shown that EU migrants are on the positive side of the balance sheet while non-EU are negative.
Denmark has done some work in this area. It has calculated that non-Western immigrants and their descendants cost the state roughly £3billion a year while Western immigrants and their descendants pay in £1.3billion.
Similar research in the Netherlands has found Western immigrants bring in a net benefit of £36,000 each while the non-Westerners are a drain of £143,000.
When you do a deep dive, these disparities widen.
So, when deciding if somebody comes to enjoy our free schooling, NHS, its welfare and work opportunities, we should take more into account than just age, qualifications and police records, but look at what country they come from.
There would be shouts from the usual suspects of discrimination. Absolutely right. We are shutting the door on those people who will be nothing but a cost for us in the years ahead.
The reality is that we don’t have enough money to keep our old dears warm in the winter, so why on earth should we import people who are going to make us poorer?
I would like to know which migrants are hoovering up our benefits. In a decent piece by Sam Ashworth-Hayes in The Telegraph, he discloses that while social housing in the UK is only occupied by 13 per cent from continental Europe households, that figure leaps to 32 per cent for African households.

Whose idea was it to let our doors open to Africans so that they can immediately get social housing ahead of British people? Seems quite mad to me.
We can argue all day long about who brings something positive to our country, but we need the stats. Under political pressure, Labour was forced to publish those migrant crime figures, so it’s important anxious voters keep up the pressure.
We have enough of the skint and useless in our backyard not to bring in more from the rest of the world.
Grateful if Reform or the Tories would give an undertaking that the figures will be published. That will force the useless Prime Minister to act.
