Jacob Rees-Mogg shared his opinion on Labour Party

If Sir Keir Starmer ever had control of the Labour Party, he now seems to have lost it.

He wants you to believe that under his leadership, he has created a new party.

But this week's developments show not only that he is almost incapable of committing to anything but that Jeremy Corbyn's legacy is alive and well. In fact, it seems to be thriving.

First it was Azhar Ali, who Sir Keir initially backed and indeed sent Shadow Cabinet members onto the airwaves to defend him and to help him.

Then it emerged former MP and Hyndburn parliamentary candidate Graham Jones allegedly also made deeply unpleasant remarks at the same Labour Lancashire meeting.

If the Leader of the Opposition is serious about tackling this problem, he needs to tell us who else was at this meeting.

Were there senior party members there? Were there members of the Shadow Cabinet?

Why does it seem as if these anti-Semitic comments went unchallenged?

Why didn't somebody stand up and say, ‘you can't say that?’ If they had, surely we would know that by now?

But Sir Keir’s work doesn’t end there. The rot left by Jeremy Corbyn continues to thrive.

Take the example of the member for Coventry South Zarah Sultana. You would have thought her record prior to entering Parliament would have been enough to have not selected her.

It was revealed she had said before becoming an MP that she would celebrate the deaths of George Bush, Tony Blair and Benjamin Netanyahu, and that rather ominously, the sooner they meet their creator the better. She also praised what she called the ‘Palestinian violent resistance.’

Miss Sultana did apologize after having been caught out, but it hasn't stopped her from recently liking a tweet erroneously accusing Israel of committing genocide.

What about the member for Poplar and Limehouse, Apsana Begum, who thought it sensible to pose for photos with a group that justified the 7th October attacks as ‘resistance to apartheid’ just moments after these wicked attacks happened.

Several of Sir Keir’s ministers resigned in protest at his leadership to vote in favour of an SNP ceasefire amendment a few weeks ago. This was the ceasefire bill that would have effectively told Israel to surrender to Hamas.

The Islamist apologist, Jew-hating and Britain-hating wing of the Labour Party is alive and well and Sir Keir’s inability to control it shows the party is not ready for government.

His leadership is weak, and his team are jejune. Today was reported that Labour staff were blubbing, the poor dear snowflakes, after Sue Gray asked them about the leaks surrounding Labour’s U-Turn on the £28 billion annual green pledge.

Sir Keir can't keep the extreme wing of his party in line. He can't commit to a position on anything, and his staff are too fragile to face a leak investigation. It's no wonder the latest polling has revealed the party is at its lowest rating in seven months. It's because it isn't ready for government.”
