It’s getting Orwellian when there are repeated reports in the press since Labour took office of police knocking on your door advising you not to criticise Labour on social media.
For years I was trolled when I was in Parliament by orchestrated Labour attacks, much of it set up at a very high command level especially under the Corbyn era.
So much so, I had momentum activists including the now MP that replaced me criticising me without foundation through various Facebook sites set up to make up lies and fake news and inadvertently getting off on their own delusions.
One fixated individual had a dedicated site actually painting pictures of me and singing songs about me! Darkly amusing as this was, this all was reported to the police many times as it had plainly got out of hand and was not normal behaviour.
Believe me, I was not on my own. There were some of my colleagues who had some very sinister online behaviour from Labour that is a matter of public record.
In my case nothing was done. I even had; I was told by the police ; a ‘random bullet’ fired through my Office window. This was also in the national press.
Karma struck when my replacement was trolled within weeks of taking office by the same Labour supporters and Facebook activists on the same websites for adhering to their new preferred Labour governments policies that they spent years of vitriol to get elected.
Reality had set in and they had a wakeup call. I was no longer the devil and they were now reaping what they sowed.
The new Labour MP even went public over this immediate victimisation that I endured for a decade by some of her helpers and who were the worst hypocritical perpetrators against me, some now in public office, to say how abhorrent this activity was.
Morris lost his seat by 5,000 votes in July 2024

I always delivered prosperity and millions for my constituents but since it has stopped Labour wonder why after a few months in office not one election pledge has been honoured only semantic platitudes of delivery of ‘change’.
The MP inevitably started blocking the same people who for years criticised me and supported her.
The administrators of this site ‘Blocked’ site quickly and shut it down as they had in-fact now turned on themselves. They stated “What do we do now?", the moderators of this group feel it has run its course, and it's time to "archive" the group.
No wonder Elon Musk and JD Vance think our freedom of speech is being compromised with such antics. I’m sure Labour never saw it coming hence the seemingly new phenomenon of the two tier thought police. If they had in the first place we wouldn’t be in this predicament.
If Donald Trump (and I’m waiting to see) really does see America's future in the stark terms of a transactional deal-maker, he may be seen to have more in common with Putin than he does with most European leaders. I’m sure this is not the case.

ReutersWell for example the US want certain assets that are in the Russian zone. You will of course need you to defend the territory where the mineral mines are.
As everyone seems to be, forgetting that the US has east and west fronts to protect from Russian/Chinese disruption and aggression.
The UK provides protections, and eyes & ears, on the Atlantic US coast to seemingly support the US, not Europe.
There are more than 1 million soldiers across Europe under NATO, and Russia will take what they can without NATO attack.
Trump has done nothing in reality to suggest he thinks Russia is a friend. Wanting to buy Greenland? Canada 51st state? These are all to put greater US defences further forward to protect US on eastern/northern flank from Russia.
Donald Trump is blunt and lacks diplomatic interest, this is without question, but perhaps we need to remember and highlight what the UK offers into NATO is also for the US's protection too. Trump has criticised Ukraine for not having elections for obvious reasons.
Presenter Tom Harwood on the people’s channel pointed out that the UK had not held any general elections from 1935 until after VE Day in 1945, so perhaps insisting Ukrainians dodge death drones to get to ballot boxes was a bit much?
I can say this with authority. As I write this, I’m in the Ukraine in a bunker on the 3rd anniversary as Putin launches more attacks on the Ukraine making her people even more resolute and stronger against oppression.
The collective west should remember this and take note.
