The headmistress of Norwood Primary School in Eastleigh has scrapped the annual Easter Celebrations out of respect for other religions and because of what she calls "inclusivity and diversity".
So where’s the respect for Christianity? Because the dopey and very dangerous move by the teacher clearly can’t see that banning this Christian festival is not only her being "exclusive" and disrespectful – it’s also discriminatory!
And how can it be that those who are responsible for the innocent minds of the children don’t understand that you don’t promote respect for other religions by banishing or trying to erase one you don’t much like.
Last time I looked Britain was still a Christian country and we’re not just entitled, we’re almost duty bound to celebrate Christian events - especially one as important as the death and resurrection of Christ.
You can’t cancel a Christian festival in a Christian country without it being called out for exactly what it is – discrimination on a grand scale!
Instead of celebrating Easter with their annual Easter Bonnet parade and service this school will however be celebrating Refugee Week in June.

I mean seriously? Just where does this headteacher get the power to impose in my opinion a dangerous and poisonous agenda on innocent children? Because, I’ll tell you if I had a child at Norwood School I’d round up all the other parents and stage THE most magnificent and colourful Easter Bonnet parade right outside the school.
And I’m wondering how many Muslim celebrations have been banned in the name of inclusivity, diversity and respect for other religions? How many Hindu ones. How many Sikh ones? I’ll stick my neck out here and say I’ll bet not a single one.
In fact her own school website proudly boasts that the school has happily celebrated EID and Diwali yet she dares to draw the line at Easter which is about the death and resurrection of Christ - pretty important as far as Christian celebrations go!
British people are forever being told we must appreciate, embrace and tolerate other cultures in our country. And as a society we’re mostly happy to do that except when those religions fall foul of Britain’s moral values and end up with women being treated as second-class citizens in a country that hugely respects women’s rights.
So if we’re expected to respect and celebrate the religions and cultures of others why are we being stopped from celebrating our own?
I’m pretty sure that not one Muslim or Sikh or Hindu will have objected to these Easter celebrations. I’d go as far as to say most parents from those religions would enjoy celebrating Easter every bit as enthusiastically as they celebrate their own because THAT’S what inclusivity is all about.
It’s do-gooding idiots who cause the division, the racism and the separatism among our children. Its idiots who poison their minds into believing one religion is superior to another. Because that’s exactly what she’s conveying here. You can celebrate Eid and Diwali - but not Easter!
Celebrating all cultures and religions is what diversity and inclusivity is all about.

The whole point about diversity and inclusivity is that it’s meant to celebrate ALL cultures and creeds. And what certainly shouldn’t be allowed are attempts to eradicate the indigenous religion of this country so as not to offend others.
This school is pushing other faiths to the top of her agenda which is discriminatory not to mention divisive.
Suella Braverman said this week: "This isn’t about inclusivity, its about cultural surrender. Britain’s cultural roots are being erased by spineless leaders who’d rather appease than preserve."
I'm sure the Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson will back the dangerous headmistress Mander.

But parents with children at Norwood School must push back. We cannot just allow Christianity to bleed out in this country just because a handful of stupid, misguided people are pushing for it to happen.
And it’s because of those people that in Britain today diversity and inclusivity are fast becoming names for being anti-white and anti-Christian.
It's decisions like this that are ensuring that the words diversity and inclusion are no longer kind words in this country and are being used, by some, as weapons to rob Christians of their rights and their culture.
