I object to paying my £14-a-month subscription to the BBC but I do so to avoid going to jail. Hardly ever watch it and object to it’s the lefty, metropolitan message. If you think like me, I have some very bad news; If the new BBC chairman Samir Shah has his way the price we are forced to pay for this tosh is going to rise for everybody except the SIDS (Skint Idle Dim Socialist).
Unbelievably, this idiot wants those in ‘’wealthy households’’ (to be defined by council tax bands or income tax bands) to cough up even more.
Samir Shah has said 'wealthier households' should pay more for their licence fee

Shah, in his Sunday Times interview, asks the following question; ‘’Why should people who are poor pay the same as people in wealthy households?’’. That is the wrong question.
The real question is this; Why in this day and are are we being forced to pay for television simply to avoid going to prison if we don’t?
The reality is that I, alongside most viewers (including the ‘’poor’’) enjoy the streamers. Netflix, Apple and the like. Even Sky seems old hat today. If we don’t think we are getting value we simply stop paying.
We don’t get that chance with the BBC.
If there were not a threat of jail hardly anybody would pay and the BBC would go bust within a year. Hooray. We can all get along quite happily without BBC television.
Now, if the BBC would go over to a subscription model I would be prepared to pay for Radio 4 as I have listened to the Today programme for decades and there is nothing similar being offered in the commercial world.
But that idea is not on offer. So I urge Kemi and Nigel Farage to save us a lot of money by going to voters at the next General Election and offering us subscription.
And if Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy, another bloody lefty, pushes through a Royal Charter in 2027 guaranteeing we have to pay a TV tax for another ten years I would light the Right to say that they will dismantle that charter when they come to power.
That wasn’t the only BBC shocker which emerged over the weekend. What about this from the BBC’s annual report that senior managers who are gay, black, Asian or disabled earn much more than straight white males.
Stats show lesbians, bisexual, transgender and gay make 15.6% more, ethnic minorities make 12.6% than their white counterparts, the disabled are on 8.4% more and women on 5.7% more.
Thanks to the BBC embracing DEI with YOUR money, it means there is outright discrimination against straight whites.
How about paying people on merit?
It does explain clearly for the first time why there is so much ‘’ progressive’’ rubbish on the BBC.
Producers make television knowing it might not go well with the viewer but will go down well with their minority bosses.
That way they keep their job at the BBC and may well be promoted or at least won’t be frozen out for having views that these minorities won’t feel acceptable.
One politician not frightened to take on the BBC is Kemi Badenoch. I like the way she has warned director-general Tim Davie that she will withdraw her support for the licence fee unless something is done about the corporation’s Arabic Channel.
After a four-year investigation, the channel has been accused of ‘’appalling anti-semitism’’, providing a platform for Hamas, presenting apologists as independent experts and allowing extremist views to go unchallenged.
Kemi will be on a winner if she continues her fire on the BBC. The dim-witted chairman’s idea that ‘’wealthier households’’ will pay more is enough to turn the hard-working middle classes turn against corporation.
Since the ‘’poor’’ won’t be either paying for the BBC (or watching it!!! that only leaves the middle classes funding an outfit they no longer have time for as they are either watching Netflix or tweeting.
Bashing the BBC would turn out to be a big vote winner for Kemi.
