Ukraine has announced that it is prepared to agree to a 30-day ceasefire deal - proposed by the US - after America promised to resume shipping over weapons.
The US deal will "immediately lift the pause on intelligence sharing and resume security assistance to Ukraine", both nations declared in a joint statement.
Ukraine has "expressed readiness to accept the US proposal to enact an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties and which is subject to acceptance and concurrent implementation by the Russian Federation."
“The United States will communicate to Russia that Russian reciprocity is the key to achieving peace,” the statement said.

"Ukraine is ready to start talking and stop shooting," Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Saudi Arabia declared.
He added that "the ball is now in Russia’s court".
"We’re going to tell them this is what’s on the table, Ukraine is ready to stop shooting and start talking, and now it’ll be up to them to say yes or no," he said.
"I hope they’re going to say yes, and if they do then I think we made great progress."
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Part of the deal will see the US resume sharing intelligence with the Ukrainian Government.
Both countries' leaders President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have agreed to conclude "as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement for developing Ukraine’s critical mineral resources", the joint statement added.
US national security adviser Mike Waltz said that Ukraine "very clearly" shares Donald Trump's vision for a peace deal, sharing his "determination to end the fighting".
Ukraine's agreement to the ceasefire came after more than seven hours of negotiations between top US and Ukraine diplomats in Saudi Arabia.

Following the announcement, Zelensky said: "The American side understands our arguments, accepts our proposals, I want to thank President Trump for the constructiveness of our teams’ conversation."
Acknowledging the proposal to establish a ceasefire across missiles, drones and bombs across the Black Sea as well as the entire frontline, Zelensky said that it was a "positive" proposal.
He urged: "The United States of America must convince Russia to do this.
"That is, we agree, and if the ‘Russians’ agree – at that moment the silence will work."
He concluded: "Ukraine is ready for peace. Russia must show its readiness to end the war or continue the war. It is time for the full truth. I thank everyone who is helping Ukraine."
