Teenage Briton fighting for his life after horrific accident at waterpark on holiday in Majorca

A 15-year-old Briton has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a horrific accident at a waterpark in Majorca.
The teenager was admitted to hospital yesterday after being knocked unconscious following the incident in Alcudia.
Civil Guard motorcyclists reportedly drove ahead of the ambulance to ensure he got to hospital as quickly as possible.
Local newspaper Cronica Balear claimed the British teenager was “knocked unconscious when he went down one of the slides and hit his head”.
An ambulance reportedly arrived at the scene as health workers started attempting to revive the teen.
A pulse was recovered but the British boy remained unconscious.
The 15-year-old was transferred to Son Espases hospital after being stabilised.
Emergency services put in a so-called “green alert” which ensures patrols cut off traffic at main intersections.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:The measure makes it easier for the ambulance to navigate itself through traffic freely.
Sources from the 061 emergency services claim the incident occurred at around 4pm.
Staff received notice of a serious drowning in the water park at the time.
An investigation has since been launched to determine the full details of the incident.

A spokesman for a regional government-run emergency response centre said overnight: “A 59-year-old scuba diver has died following an incident at Playa Chica in the municipality of Tias.
“We started receiving calls just after 12.30pm yesterday.
“The callers said a scuba diver who was unconscious and needed emergency medical assistance had been pulled from the water.
“Emergency responders discovered he was in cardiac arrest when they arrived at the scene and practiced CPR on him without obtaining positive results.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene. Local police and firefighters were also mobilised.”
