Three people have been stabbed in a knife attack at Paris' main train station this morning.
Police rushed to the Gare de Lyon railway station after the suspected attacker went on a stabbing spree at around 8am this morning.
None of those stabbed are thought to be in a life threatening condition.
One of the victims is thought to have been seriously injured, while another two people have minor injuries.
Police say they have since arrested the suspected assailant.
The motive of the attack is not immediately clear.
“One person was seriously hurt, and two lightly wounded,’ a police spokesperson said.
“Officers arrived on the scene within minutes and the man was arrested.
“He was found to have an Italian driving licence on him, and did not offer any motive for his actions. There were no slogans shouted.”
Local media has reported that the suspect suffered from "psychiatric disorders", but the police are yet to provide any confirmation.
SNCF, France's national state-owned railway company, confirmed on social media that police and emergency services had made an "intervention" at the train station's concourse and that it was "temporarily inaccessible" to the public.

French cabinet minister Gerald Darmanin said on social media today: "This morning at Gare de Lyon, an individual injured 3 people with a knife before being arrested.
"One person is seriously injured. Two others are more lightly.
"They were taken care of by the emergency services. Thank you to those who restrained the perpetrator of this unbearable act."
Paris' Gare de Lyon station connects trains across France but is also used for international travel, servicing routes to Switzerland and Italy, as well as the Eurostar.
As many as 150 million passengers use the station a year.
Today's incident comes after a number of knife attacks in the French capital in recent months.
In December, a tourist died and another two were injured, after an attack near the Eiffel Tower.
And in January 2023, six people were injured after a stabbing at Paris's international Gare du Nord station.
