An image of a failed Afghan asylum seeker who injured 30 people by driving into a Munich crowd shows him pictured next to the Mini Cooper that he used to plough through the pedestrians.
In the horrific attack, Farhad Noori, 24, injured 30 people - including a two-year-old toddler - when he drove into crowds in the German city on Thursday.
After authorities fired gunshots at the car, Farhad Noori - who has now been named by the Munich prosecutor’s office - was arrested by German authorities at the scene.
It is reported that the 24-year-old was previously known by the local police force for drugs and theft offences.

Specialist experts are conducting an investigation into the man - which has come out with “indications of an extremist background”, German tabloid papers have reported.
German police are now conducting further investigations into the incident after the suspect admitted to ploughing into the crows on purpose, they confirmed in a press conference.
German Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said that Noor’s asylum application had first been rejected nine years ago in 2016 upon his arrival in the country.

The man acquired a toleration permit from the German government, allowing his deportation to be suspended until 2023 when he received a residence and work permit to let him stay in the country until April this year.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said: “This perpetrator cannot hope for any leniency. He must be punished and he must leave the country."
He added: “If this was an attack, we must take consistent action against possible perpetrators using all legal means at our disposal.”
Munich's mayor Dieter Reiter told Bild: “The police chief has just informed me that a vehicle drove into a group of people and unfortunately many people were injured, including children. I am deeply shocked. My thoughts are with the injured.”

Yesterday, at around 10.30am, the vehicle’s driver is said to have accelerated and then sped into the more than 1,000 demonstrators on the road.
Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder told a press conference: "It is suspected that this was an attack."
The incident occurred around 1.5km from the security conference venue.
Security has been in sharp focus in Germany ahead of a federal election next week and following a string of violent attacks.
