The 20-year-old was eventually found in two feet deep water.

He was pulled out of the swimming pool by a lifeguard who started to perform CPR.

Following the lifeguard’s CPR attempts, the man was rushed to Zakynthos hospital by a private ambulance.

He was later pronounced dead while at the hospital.

His body has since been transferred to Patra for an autopsy.
