A mum and daughter have both transitioned to become “father and son” as free public healthcare has funded their “transgender journey”.

The duo shared their experience to their 24,000 followers on Instagram, posting photos and videos of the journey.

Ten-year-old Gustavo and 38-year-old Raphael were both born as biological females, but now identify as male.

The child began the transition at age four, while the parent stopped identifying as female last year.
