The Met police commissioner did not respond well to a question about two-tiered policing
Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley grabbed a journalist's microphone when asked: "are you going to end two-tier policing?" while leaving the emergency Cobra meeting today.
This comes as The Prime Minister called the emergency Cobra meeting after a weekend of violence saw rioters set fire to migrant hotels.
The meeting brought together ministers, civil servants, police and intelligence officers.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “The Commissioner had a positive and constructive meeting with the Prime Minister and partners across government and policing.
“He was in a hurry to return to New Scotland Yard to take action on the agreed next steps.”
