D-Day commemoration organiser Adrian Cox has revealed that the celebrations to mark the anniversary of the landings will be set to change, as they approach their 80th anniversary.

Speaking to GB News, Cox noted that this will be most likely the "last anniversary with the remaining veterans present", and told reporter Sophie Reaper: "We are at a point where the way that we keep the remembrance going, we promise we stand there at the Cenotaph and we say we shall remember them.

"Actually, we've got to change the wording to they shall never be forgotten. And our job now is to formulate the commemorations into a, into something which is actually interesting, understandable for the next generation."
