Paris theatre facing 'tragic' situation after being occupied by hundreds of illegal migrants, Kearse says

The managers of a historic French theatre have been lambasted for potentially facing bankruptcy after allowing hundreds of illegal migrants to occupy the venue for almost 100 days.

The iconic Gaîté Lyrique theatre in Paris has been occupied by a group of more than 440 migrants, which have called themselves the "Collectif des jeunes du Parc de Belleville", and are protesting against the Government for "ignoring" and "abandoning" them.
