Five other children are still in a critical condition in hospital

GB News host Martin Daubney was visibly distraught live on air today after the three girls who died in the Southport stabbings have been named.

He said: "It just strikes every parent. I got home last night and squeezed my little girl. This is just ordinary beautiful children going about their daily business on a summer camp."

The three girls were named as six-year-old Bebe King, seven-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine. Five other children are still in a critical condition in hospital, while the exact conditions of three other children injured are not known.
