Triple murderer Kyle Clifford has been handed a whole-life order for killing his ex-girlfriend and two members of her family.
Justice Bennathan sentenced Clifford for the murders of Louise, her sister Hannah, and their mother Carol.
The judge made it clear Clifford "will never be released" from prison.
The sentence comes after Clifford was found guilty of the brutal attacks at the family's home.
In his sentencing remarks, Mr Justice Bennathan described Clifford as a "jealous man soaked in self-pity, a man who holds women in utter contempt".
The judge stated: "This is no occasion to subject family and friends of your victims to any delay or suspense."
He added: "For each of these three murders, the sentence will be one of life imprisonment with a whole-life order."
"That means a sentence from which you will never be released."
The court heard how Clifford "launched a murderous attack" on his ex-girlfriend and her family after going to their home.
Louise had been "as gentle as she could" when ending their relationship before Clifford raped and murdered her.
He also killed Louise's sister Hannah in the attack.
Their mother Carol had shown "nothing but kindness" to Clifford moments before he attacked her.
