Leader of the opposition Kemi Badenoch has vowed to reverse Labour's controversial inheritance tax changes for farmers at "the very first opportunity".
Speaking at today's mass farming protest in London, Badenoch declared: "This is unfair and it is going to destroy farming as we know it."
She emphasised that farming is "not just a business" but "a way of life" that encompasses family, land, environment and food security.
Accompanied by Shadow Environment Secretary Victoria Atkins and shadow farming minister Robbie Moore, Badenoch assured protesters: "We are the team that are working for you... We have your backs."
