WATCH: GB News reporter in tears at D-Day celebrations - 'It's just an honour to be here'

GB News reporter Sophie Reaper has been left feeling very emotional as she attended the D-Day service in Normandy earlier today.

Speaking live on air to Martin Daubney she said: "It's just such an honour to be here.

"It is incredibly special to speak to these men and hear their stories. It is special to see the graves of those who fell just the sheer volume of them, it's really quite upsetting.

"We're also here to celebrate what they what they fought for and what they won for us, which is our freedom.

"That is the most important thing that we respect and commemorate but we also celebrate what they sacrificed for us."
