A group of farmers and their families drove tractors to Downing Street today to deliver a letter to Number 10.
The protest comes as inherited farms worth more than £1m will face a new 20% tax rate from April 2026, marking an end to their previous tax exemption.
The government says the change aims to make the tax system fairer and prevent wealthy individuals from purchasing land solely to avoid taxation.
The move has sparked significant opposition within farming communities across the country.
