An RAF Historical spokesperson has urged younger generations to hear the stories of veterans in history, as the D-Day operations mark their 80th anniversary.

Speaking to Isabel Webster on GB News, David Dai Lawrence said: "We need to remember, because this generation is not going to be here for much longer. And before we know it, we're going to have Korean, Malayan veterans and then they won't be here.

"And so on and so forth. And there's the ripple effect.

"We need to get these stories, get that knowledge and what they've gone from, what they've done and pass it on, which is why I deliver them the stories of the RAF, the history of the RAF."
