A dad from Tennessee killed a home-invading snake with a shovel after discovering the reptile in his daughter’s pram.
Tyler Maidlow had just taken his nine-month-old baby, Ava Grace, out for a walk in her stroller when he discovered the beast nestled inside.
His wife, Autumn Maidlow, shared a video of the snake squirming around the stroller, before it tried to take a jab at Tyler.
Ava Grace was luckily not in the pram when the snake was found.
Autumn said: “My husband went for a walk with our baby in the wagon and left the garage open.
“He walked past the wagon, and when he walked back in, he noticed the snake on the ledge of the wagon, and right when he looked at it, it struck at him, and he jumped back and hit my car.”
Tyler reacted by hitting the rattlesnake with a shovel, killing it.
The couple were shaken up by the horrifying incident but were relieved that their baby was not harmed.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
They shared a photo online of the snake in the stroller, curled around one of Ava Grace’s dolls.
The snake in question was a baby copperhead – named after their bronzed colour.
Copperheads are one of four venomous snakes that can be found in Tennessee.
They are responsible for the most amount of snake bites across the US.

However, their venom is not very strong and death from a bite is rare.
Earlier this month, a grandad in Hampshire was attacked by an 11ft python that slithered through his window.
Rob Byrne, 61, suffered minor injuries after the python coiled around him and stuck its teeth into his arm.
His wife and granddaughter then entered the room, which he believes spooked it as it then slithered out the window.
Byrne believed that if the snake had bitten his grandchild, she would not have survived.
