American voters appeared less than favourable towards Joe Biden after he struggled through his debate with Republican counterpart Joe Biden.
The 81-year-old appeared to have several lapses in concentration and his performance culminated in a two-minute statement where he struggled to deliver his key message, despite having no interjections from Trump.
GBN America’s Steven Edginton spoke to voters in Atlanta, Georgia, where the debate has held, to learn more about how Americans felt the debate panned out.
“In terms of opinion, Biden won, but in terms of everything else, Trump won”, said a Democrat voter.

Biden suffered a tough night
PAHe said the 78-year-old’s performance was “remarkably good”.
“I did not start out as a Trump voter”, he said.
“In 2016, I voted Hillary. This time, I am voting for Trump. Trump did an absolutely fantastic job in this debate. Better than last time.”
Edginton spoke to another American who noted Biden’s “long pauses”, saying it did not fill them with confidence.

“He was trying to think of what he was going to say with these long pauses”, he said.
“It was just awkward.”
Another said Biden “looked low and incompetent”, with a friend insisting Biden looked like a “ghost” and he was an "embarrassment" to America.
“The man can’t speak without a drug cocktail that would put me one my ar*e”, another added.
The pair were quizzed on a plethora of topics such as concerns regarding Biden’s age, Trump’s legal troubles and wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
But it was Trump who seemingly won the night, with 67 per cent of voters in a poll for CNN backing the ex-president.
This was despite 55 per cent of those voters initially being confident of a Trump win.
