At least 10 people were wounded in a mass shooting outside a nightclub in New York City late on Wednesday night - just hours after a vile "terror attack" rocked New Orleans.
The incident occurred at approximately 11.15 pm when gunfire erupted near the Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, Queens.
None of the victims are in critical condition, with all expected to survive following the attack, the New York Police Department said.
The shooting occurred as a group of 15 people, aged between 16 and 20, were standing outside the venue waiting to enter a private event.

The suspects fled the scene on foot before being seen entering a light-coloured saloon car with out-of-state number plates, officers said.
The victims were transported to several area hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen's Children Medical Centre.
Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera addressed the incident at a press conference early on Thursday, telling reporters there is "zero tolerance for these senseless shootings".
Rivera also confirmed that the shooting was not an act of terrorism, though the motive remains unknown.
It comes as further details continue to emerge about the New Year's Day truck attack in Louisiana - as well as an apparent "bomb" blast at a Trump hotel in Las Vegas.
A press conference held by the FBI on Wednesday afternoon, UK time, confirmed that the New Orleans attack was an "act of terrorism" - and said investigators were hard at work seizing laptops, phones and potential explosive devices planted by attacker Shamsud-Din Jabbar.
The FBI also said there is "no current definitive link" between the Las Vegas and New Orleans attacks.
