Kamala Harris has been branded an “incompetent joke” in a furious rant on GBN America by political commentator Carrie Sheffield.
The Democratic presidential candidate is hoping to keep the White House under the party’s control after taking the reins from Joe Biden.
But her record on immigration leaves a lot to be desired, according to Sheffield, who pointed to her work as a ‘failed border czar’, as Donald Trump has previously put it.
“There was this ridiculous argument that Kamala Harris was there to address the root causes of illegal immigration from Central American countries like poverty and crime”, she told Mark Dolan.

“She did absolutely zero on that. She’s an utter failure.
“She’s an incompetent joke. She has no business being anyway near the Oval Office as the chief executive.

“Where we are today, the voters believe she is going to lose.”
Mark Dolan asked whether her record on immigration will prove to be her “achilles heel” as the November 5 vote draws closer.
“I think it will be a very key issue”, said Sheffield.
“The economy is a key issue and illegal immigration is an economic issue. The Trump campaign has been hammering home that illegal immigrations or immigrations have had net job gains since the Biden administration took over.

Polling has Trump and Harris neck and neck but a one conducted today by 538/ABC News has Harris at 48 per cent and Trump at 46 per cent.
The two candidates locked horns in a televised debate in Pennsylvania on 10 September that just over 67 million people tuned in to watch.
While the national polls are a useful way of gauging the popularity of a candidate, they aren’t necessarily the best way to accurately predict the election.
The US uses an electoral college system, in which each state is given a number of votes roughly in line with the size of its population.
