Americans continue to question the president’s cognitive ability, with polling in the country suggesting many are not keen on him running again in 2024.
Speaking on GB News, Republican Overseas representative Greg Swenson said Americans are talking “openly” about the perceived decline in his cognitive issues.
He said: "61 per cent think that he committed some sort of bribery or influence peddling.
“75 per cent think that he should not run for president.
“Again, 2/3 of Democrats are a little more polite about it. They say he's too old, but what they're really saying is he's got cognitive challenges."
The president will face fierce competition for the White House, with Donald Trump gunning for the Republican nomination.
Biden’s predecessor is hoping to achieve a second term himself having lost to the incumbent in the 2020 election.
Current polling has Trump with an unassailable lead in most polls when it comes to the Republican nomination, but continued questions over the 77-year-old’s legal battles could prove to be a stumbling block.
