A Detroit Imam openly told GBN America that "Islam is America’s last hope" as he branded Joe Biden a "bloodthirsty, maniacal murderer" and vowed any politician who does not support a ceasefire in Israel would "pay the price".
Speaking to Steven Edginton for GBNA, Imam Imran Salh said "we will get him [Biden] out of office".
Steven asked: "Just down the road here in Dearborn, a few weeks ago, there was a protest, a rally to do with Gaza and Israel, and people were chanting Death to America. Some people were not everyone, but some people were.
"What do you make of that chant? And do you support its message?"
Imran Salha said that Islam is the "last hope" for the US

Imam Imran Salha responded: "No. So listen, I was born and raised in America, born and raised in New Jersey.
"I was born and raised on Dunkin' Donuts and Domino's Pizza. All the good stuff, okay. And the reality is that I learned my religion in America.

"I would even go as far as to say that the opportunities to learn Islam exist in ways here in America, that it does not exist overseas.
"My real message is that Islam is America's last hope. Many of the thought leaders like Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali in the civil rights movement, what inspired them to move was Islam.
"The philosophy of Islam is a philosophy that breathes life into the people, and it does not wish death upon the people."
Steven then asked him: "What do you think of Joe Biden? What do you think of Donald Trump? Who do you want to win the election this year?"

Salha replied: "I don't care anymore. I voted for Joe Biden. I have a relative who was murdered in the West Bank, 37 years old, and she leaves eight children behind.
"If I were to sign the ballot to put Biden into power, the ink that I would use to sign that ballot would be through the blood of Rhonda Judge, my relative and I will not accept that for myself.
"My goal with my vote is to tie the crime to the criminal. Joe Biden is a criminal and I don't care who wins. Even if Trump wins, I don't care. Let him win.
"I want Joe Biden to know when he suffers on that night, knowing that he lost the election like the loser, that he is like the bloodthirsty, maniacal murderer that he is.

"People are limiting it by saying, what will you do come November? What happened in this genocide against Palestinians is going to be the central focus of our political engagement for the rest of our lives.
"We will never forget it, and we will make sure anybody who did not sign on to ceasefire resolutions will pay the price."
When asked what he meant by that he said: "They will lose their power. We will get them out of office."
Dearborn has seen a huge shift in its demographics over the past few years and Abdullah Hammoud became the city’s first Arab American elected mayor in 2021.
In 2023 US Census Bureau data showed for the first time people of Middle Eastern or North African ancestry made up the majority of Dearborn’s population, 54.5 per cent.
The city is also now home to the first and only museum dedicated to the Arab American experience, the Arab American National Museum.
