Elon Musk has revealed he is "leaning away" from Joe Biden ahead of the 2024 presidential election - and is not yet inclined to support Donald Trump either.

During an appearance on The Don Lemon Show, the Tesla businessman was asked about his recent meeting with Trump.

Musk has previously said he voted for Biden over Trump in the 2020 elections.

Lemon asked Musk: "Are you leaning towards anyone?"

“No. I’m leaning away from Biden," the SpaceX CEO responded.

Musk saw Trump in Palm Beach, Florida last week while he was having "breakfast at a friend’s place".

In what appeared to be a swipe at the former President, he told Lemon: “Let’s just say he did most of the talking."

In 2022, Musk urged voters to elect a Republican Congress in midterm elections to counterbalance Biden’s Democrats.

He also accused Biden of encouraging migrants to come to the US so they can vote for Democrats.

In 2022, he posted on social media: "My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far."

Just hours after the interview with Lemon, Musk abruptly terminated a deal to exclusively host the new show on X.

The interview was set to be a premiere episode on the social media platform, but Lemon revealed that "Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X".

Lemon said the billionaire texted him, "contract terminated".

The former CNN host said: "There were no restrictions on the interview that he willingly agreed to, and my questions were respectful and wide ranging, covering everything from SpaceX to the presidential election.

"We had a good conversation. Clearly, he felt differently."
