Donald Trump is “on the cusp of one of the biggest come from behind victories”, according to former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon.
Bannon, who was released from jail this week, joined Steve Edginton on GBN America to give his take on how he views the race to the White House, and you can watch the full interview above.
The 70-year-old emerged from behind bars as the presidential race reaches its final throes, and Bannon is confident that his former colleague Trump is primed for success.

“Donald Trump was dismissed by the political class in January 2021. He was basically driven from the temple of politics and was told ‘you’re going to be a non-person’.
“His movement said, ‘we don’t believe that’, this has been a populist revolt to bring him back.

“We’re on the cusp of having one of the biggest come from behind victories in the history of American politics.”
Trump and Harris are neck and neck in the polls as the US election cycle reaches its final stretch.
An ABC News poll has Harris at 48 per cent, just one percentage point higher than her Republican foe.
Bannon remains confident it will be the Republican getting inaugurated in January, but told the GOP (Grand Old Party) not to rest on their laurels.

“I don’t think there’s any doubt [Trump will win]”, he told Steve Edginton.
“I think you see the movement in numbers. I think President Trump has run a tremendous campaign, but you’ve got to bring all that to bear to get this vote out.
“It’s not going to be easy. It’s very doable. I think the numbers are coming out his way.”
Bannon went on to take aim at Harris, saying her message has been “garbled” since she took the reins of the Democratic nomination after Joe Biden stepped down.
Trump’s ex-colleague said he was taken aback by Harris’s “unpreparedness”.
"I think what shocked me the most is how little she knows and how she really can't walk through a coherent set of policy prescriptions that would kind of make the point that she wants to make”, he said.
