Donald Trump will be “more defiant” after he was shot at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Dr Carole Lieberman has told GB News.
The Republican presidential nominee said on his Truth Social media platform that a bullet had “pierced” his ear before he was dragged to the ground by Secret Service agents.=
Speaking on GB News, Dr Carole Lieberman spoke about what it means as the ex-president prepares to resume his campaign rally.
“I think he will be more defiant”, she told Mark Dolan.

“We have seen it with the different court cases, he comes out stronger and more determined to make America great again and fight against these forces.”
Lieberman, who is a medical doctor in America, spoke about the trauma Trump is likely to be suffering as a result of the shock event.

“A typical person with that happening might well develop PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), but I think this will make him stronger”, she said.
“I hope there will be more protection. I have been shocked at how little he has had.
“He is going to have to do something different and maybe they will look at people they are bringing into the rallies more carefully.”
Dr Lieberman added that the events will likely hold Trump in a higher esteem with American voters, including those who previously were not willing to back him at the election.

“I think the way he handled it is what will make people be more sympathetic and see how much he cares”, she said.
“It is amazing. They are saying he’s fine, a shot to the ear, apparently it just grazed him but it could have been fatal.”
Sir Keir Starmer is among those to have spoken out on the assassination attempt, saying he was “appalled” by the scenes.
The suspected gunman was killed while the Secret Service confirmed one person in the crowd had died and two others had been “critically injured”.
