'It's OK raising my voice to a female? I'll see about it with you, k***', shouts a man before a fellow passenger forcibly removes him

Chaos erupted on an American Airlines flight on Tuesday after a man yelling vile antisemitic abuse was put in a headlock by another passenger.

In a series of videos posted online, the man can be seen causing a commotion on board the aircraft before calling a flight attendant a k*** - an ethnic slur for a Jewish person.

As staff attempted to coax the man off the plane, a fight broke out between him and another passenger - resulting in the latter wrapping the former in a headlock and dragging him out of the cabin.

The incident - which occurred before the flight from Tampa to Philadelphia took off - meant the plane was delayed by half an hour.

The videos start with the man telling a person off-camera: "I will universally, publicly, mess you up", as passengers clamour for him to leave the plane.

He proceeds to move into a seat nearby while a crew member asks him if he has any bags or luggage he needs before disembarking.

After protesting some more, the furious passenger says: "Yeah, yeah, yeah... It's OK raising my voice to a female? I'll see about it with you, k***" - which appears to baffle the flight attendant - then doubles down, saying: "You as a k*** human."

Other passengers on the grounded flight start to chime in, prompting the man to say: "I'm trying to get to my home country - you people made it harder for me to get to my home country!" - to which a woman replies: "We don't know where you're going!"

Before long, another passenger approaches the disruptive would-be flyer and attempts to seize control of the situation - to which the man shouts: "Let me see you up front, cuz."

After a brief period of verbal escalation, chaos ensues as the two passengers start hitting each other - with the man who initially made the antisemitic comments waving his ticket at staff and other people on board.

A crew member, who appears to be security staff, dials for help on a walkie-talkie as other passengers watch on, before the second passenger puts the man in a headlock, shouting: "You got it, cuz? Do you got it? Now, put your hands down and don't touch anybody."

A third passenger joins the in-flight fracas, placing her hand on the headlocker and declaring: "I'm a police officer" - he replies: "So am I."

As the headlocker tries to manhandle him off the aircraft, the unruly passenger says: "I'm schizophrenic", to which the headlocker replies: "So am I - walk."

At last, the man is escorted off the plane by a gaggle of passengers and crew.

American Airlines told GB News: "Prior to departure of American Airlines flight 2506 with service from Tampa (TPA) to Philadelphia (PHL), law enforcement was requested to the aircraft due to a disturbance in the cabin involving a disruptive customer.

"We thank our team for their professionalism and apologise to our customers for the inconvenience."
