Selina Dalglish's friend woke up to find a supposed bed bug crawling into her ear on the hellish trip away
A Salford woman has spoken out about her "holiday from hell" after discovering an apparent bed bug infestation at a Tui resort in Majorca.
Selina Dalglish, who celebrated her 41st birthday on the trip, claims her £1,300 holiday was ruined when she and her friend found "little red bugs" crawling in their beds at the Sol Katmandu Park and Resort in Magaluf, Spain.
The pair's dream getaway quickly turned into a nightmare when Dalglish's friend reportedly woke up to the sensation of a bed bug crawling into her ear.
They also discovered bloodstains on their sheets, thought to be from squashed insects.

But that wasn't all - Dalglish told the Manchester Evening News: "She then turned her phone torch on and found more bugs in the bed.
"Then I noticed there were more bloodspots on the bedding where we must have been squishing them overnight."
Dalglish even suffered bites from the bed bugs, saying: "I assumed it was a mosquito bite and didn't think anything of it, although I've never been bitten before.
"Then I noticed a bug in the bathroom and just squished it... I thought it had probably just gotten through the doors."

The pair were forced to take extreme measures, washing all their clothes and pushing the hotel to freeze their shoes for 24 hours to eliminate the insects - but the resort maintains its claim that the insect bites were not from bed bugs.
They were moved to a new room but remained anxious throughout their stay.
"It ruined the holiday," Dalglish said. "It was horrible... I couldn't stop scratching and checking the bed every two minutes."
"We were counting down the days until we came home!"

Upon her return to Salford, Dalglish lodged a complaint with Tui about her hellish holiday experience.
Initially, the firm offered her £50 in compensation, which she deemed "insulting" - given the £1,300 cost of the trip.
Tui then proposed a £100 voucher, but Dalglish claims the complaint was closed before she could claim it.
GB News understands that Tui has no evidence that bedbugs were present - but offered a gesture of goodwill either way.
The holiday firm added that it was "unaware that the customer would now like to claim this voucher".
