Protesters demonstrating against the Supreme Court's landmark ruling in favour of biological women have been branded "ridiculous" by transgender commentator Debbie Hayton.
The transgender community is holding protests across the country today, just days after the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman in law.
Trans rights groups, trade unions and community organisations are coming together for an emergency demonstration in Parliament Square.
Speaking to GB News, protesters claimed that the court concluding that trans women aren't women is "diabolical".

Speaking to GB News host Dawn Neesom, Hayton claimed that not only are the demonstrations "dangerous", but they are "whipping up hysteria".
Hayton explained: "It's ridiculous, but it's also dangerous. It's ridiculous because there were no rights lost on Wednesday. The courts repeated the fact that gender reassignment remains a protected characteristic, and we're all protected against harassment, discrimination, the rest.
"So there is no need for any protest, no need for any demonstrations. But also it's dangerous as well. There are vulnerable people that have been caught up in this, some some young vulnerable people being told that society hates them."
Defending the British public, Hayton declared: "To be honest, I don't think society really cares much, just rather we got on with our own business and got on with our work."

Delivering her verdict on whether trans women are women, Hayton declared that they are "not the same" as biological women.
She explained: "Trans women are not women, women are female, trans women are male, and the two groups are different.
"But what does it really matter if we base our lives on the truth? We don't need to be frightened, we don't need to be scared. And the people who are demonstrating today just seem to be whipping up this hysteria. And as I said, it's unhelpful, but it's also dangerous."
Discussing single sex spaces, Hayton highlighted that although the law hasn't necessarily changed, women will now have "more confidence in the law" to protect women's spaces against trans women.

Hayton said: "It does make a difference because women have always had the right to throw out a male person from their spaces. But did they have the confidence to do that if they felt that the law would be against them?
"Now we all know that the law is on their side in these situations. Women can have the confidence to take action in those in those situations. And perhaps that's all that's needed to restore sanity to what's going on."
She added: "But that's not what the lobby which has been protesting today, want to hear. They want better.
"They want to hear the law tell them they can do exactly as they please, and nobody else can do anything about it. That's why they're upset."
