Protesters stormed a Tesco in East London, accusing the supermarket of having "blood on your hands".

The footage, posted on social media, showed a group inside the fruit and veg section of the Tesco in Goodmayes, Romford.

In the video, one male protester wearing a black cap and Brooklyn jacket can be heard repeating "Tesco is supporting genocide" before shouting "stop killing children" and "enough is enough".

Other protestors are seen handing out flyers and waving Palestinian flags. It is unknown when the protest took place.

In the video, demonstrators can be seen seemingly placing avocados into shopping baskets. Tesco has previously been criticised by pro-Palestine campaigners for stocking some products made in Israel.

It comes after images shared on social media showed Sabra hummus being sold with a fake label reading: "Apartheid Hummus. Buying this product helps support genocide. Since £19.48 Search BDS for more info."

GB News has approached Tesco for a comment.

Protests have taken place across the UK after the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7 last year.

Last October, a pro-Palestine activist has been filmed throwing a bucket of live mice into a McDonald’s restaurant in Birmingham in protest against the fast food chain's stance on Israel.

The activist shouted “free f*****g Palestine” as he walked back towards his car. He also screamed “boycott Israel” and “f**k Israel” before leaving the Star City restaurant.

Elsewhere, The Palestine Solidarity Campaign is urging Brits to stop banking with Barclays over alleged funding of weapons used by Israel.

More than fifty branches, including in Abergavenny, Brighton, and Nottingham, were being targeted by protesters.

Talks on a ceasefire and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas militants hit a snag today, as the humanitarian crisis in Hamas-run Gaza deepened.

Negotiators from the Palestinian militants, Qatar and Egypt, but not Israel, are trying to secure a 40-day ceasefire in time for the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, which begins early next week.

Health officials in Gaza said the number of people confirmed killed in Israel's offensive had now passed 30,700.

It reported 86 deaths in the past 24 hours and witnesses said the Israeli bombardments continued in Khan Younis, the southern city of Rafah and areas in central Gaza.
