The woman says she had two seizures in the supermarket car park
Tesco has launched an investigation after a woman alleged she was "left humiliated" when a security guard "screamed in her face" before she suffered an epileptic fit.
An anonymous woman took to social media to share her ordeal during a recent shopping trip to the supermarket with her dad.
The woman explained that while walking around the supermarket, she began to get "warning signs" of a seizure so paid for a drink and sat in the Costa in store with her trolley full of shopping.
She wrote: "I never attempted to leave the store. I had texted my dad to tell him to meet me at the cafe so he could go through the checkout and I could go to the car to lie down.

"Her manager arrived and she kept trying to talk over me, I showed the manager my text to my dad and said I was leaving but I think the security lady was angry it didn’t go her way and was shouting."
She then claims that the security guard was going to get her name from the Clubcard she used.
The woman was flooded with supportive messages online from concerned readers.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
Following up on the post, the customer said: "I just want to thank everyone for their very kind words and advice, I did call up Tesco and speak to the manager but she would not give me the name for the security company only the guard's name.
"She said I had to complain to the store and they passed it on. This didn’t sit right with me so I went back and I asked the other security guy for the name.
"He went on to call me an embarrassment, said if I have epilepsy how could I walk and he will back his colleague up no matter what because I am apparently ‘bang to rights’."
She then went on to say she suffered two seizures in the supermarket car park.

The woman claims that a man called for emergency services.
After speaking to the security firm, she had a response and was told they are now taking the allegations seriously.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We’re really sorry for the experience this customer had. We take this extremely seriously and want all Tesco stores to be places where everyone feels welcome, and we are very sorry that, on this occasion, the customer was not made to feel this way.
"We have immediately started an internal investigation."
