Properties close by have also been evacuated, as emergency officers cordon off several surrounding roads with guards on standby.
The school is just under three miles south east of Swindon's town centre and is situated near the M4 motorway.
As a part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust - which ties together schools across Swindon - the school only opened in the autumn term of 2019.
The primary school also serves as a nursery for children between the ages of three and four.
