A man has died after a car plunged into the water at a marina in Swansea.
South Wales Police was called to the incident shortly after 10am on Wednesday, and said his death was being treated as “unexplained”.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the car entered the water with one person inside near the National Waterfront Museum.
Det Insp Chris Evans said: “Emergency services attended, and a car was found fully submerged in the water.
An air ambulance was on the scene

“The body of a man was located in the car.
“The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and inquiries are continuing to ascertain the full circumstances behind the incident.
“The incident is ongoing whilst the car is being recovered.”
The fire service left the scene shortly before 11.30am after using a rescue sledge and an underwater camera.
Pictures from the incident show multiple police vehicles and ambulances on the scene.
An air ambulance also attended while a police cordon was in place.
A residents’ association said access to the south dock of the marine was “severely restricted due to an ongoing serious incident”.
Shocking images from the scene show broken metal barriers where the car entered the water.
The area where the incident occurred is fully pedestrianised and a popular tourist spot.
It’s also within close vicinity of popular bars and restaurants, making it a popular destination during school holidays.
