Southport: Local mosque chairman 'thought rioters were going to burn the place down'

A Southport mosque chairman said he was concerned about protesters "burning the place down" as riots kicked off in the seaside town following the deaths of three children.

Many of those rioting made the mosque the subject of their ire, with some throwing objects at the building.
