Residents of Sheffield have hit out at Chancellor Jeremy Hunt after he revealed his latest plans for the UK economy.
Hunt announced freezes on Fuel and Alcohol Duty until early 2025 and cut National Insurance contributions by 2p.
The Chancellor also introduced a "British ISA", which will allow an additional £5,000 annual investment in UK equity.
He told MPs in the House of Commons that the changes have been possible because of "progress with bringing down inflation" and "additional investment flowing into the economy".

Reacting to the Spring Budget, residents at the Miner's Social Club in Sheffield told GB News that the plans will mean pensioners will be "paying out of their pockets" instead of the workers of Britain.
When asked if they would still vote Conservative at the next general election, one local said they "wouldn't vote if you paid them".
Pauline, a widow of a former miner in Sheffield, told GB News: "The government has ground Britain into poverty. And today's budget is just a continuation, because wherever there's great power, there's great corruption. And this government's corrupt."
Former miner David told GB News reporter Anna Riley that MPs were like a "rabble" as they bellowed throughout Hunt's speech.
He also hopes the younger generations are aware that the two per cent cut in National Insurance "is being paid for by all the pensioners who should be getting the pension this year, but due to the retirement age being raised, they won't be".

He added: "It was a giveaway budget to win the next election and capture votes. He hasn't got a prayer of capturing my vote."

Speaking to another former miner of Yorkshire, Anna Riley asked Chris Turton for his thoughts on the Budget, he said the working class "always gets hit" by the Conservatives and "the rich get looked after".
Turton said: "Normal people like us, we just have to carry on and carry on. So in my view, I shall never ever vote Conservative.
"I think Labour will win, and I think it's why this budget is trying to buy people's votes. It won't work because look at the nurses, they're going through a lot. They deserve a lot more than what they're getting but they won't pay them."
When asked how Labour would lead Britain if they were to win the election, Turton predicted that Keir Starmer would "help the working people more than the rich people".

Turton stated it will "always stay like that with the Conservatives".
Another miner in the social club, George Bingham, accused Jeremy Hunt of delivering a "pack of lies", and is only bringing these plans forward "because of the election".
Bingham told Anna: "It's just not really for the working man or our NHS, or things that people need. We've had that many cutbacks over years, it's absolutely disgusting.
"They're all about people retiring at 70. There's a lot of men out here in this country that do manual hard work at 50, 55, they can't do no more, they've had it. It's all right if you're pen pushing, but people are knackered and cannot do that anymore. We're in real world us people here, we know where we stand and what we stand for - they don't stand for what I stand for."
